With the storm past us, the members of the Pound Ridge Fire Department would like to thank all the residents of Pound Ridge and neighboring towns for listening to the warnings issued by state and local government and staying off the roads. Also we would like to thank Scott's Corner Market for having vast amounts of food, so our members didn't go hungry throughout the storm. During the storm stand-by, members answered two calls. One being a mutual aid plow truck fire in the Village of Bedford and the other being a gas investigation in Pound Ridge. Not only did members answer calls during the storm, but they made it a point to go out around town and check on various locations and make sure the special needs residents had what they needed and even shoveled paths in case of an emergency. Lastly, Please join us in thanking our members that took time away from their own families during the storm and spent it serving the town of Pound Ridge!
