It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing past-chief/past-commissioner Robert H. Meyer. He was a 53 member of the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department having served as chief for six years and commissioner for over 25 years.

Bob exemplified the meaning of brother in the fire service. His absence is sharply felt within the ranks of Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department.

Visitation will be Friday, September 15 from 4PM to 8PM at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah.

Service will be held Saturday, September 16th at St. Mary’s Church in Katonah beginning at 11AM.

Following the Church Service, there will be a short ceremony in front the Pound Ridge Fire Department, reception to follow directly thereafter.
