At 5:30 this evening the Pound Ridge Fire Department, along with the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps, a Paramedic from Westchester EMS and the Pound Ridge Police Department were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident, possible rollover at 53 Pound Ridge Rd. Upon arrival, Car 2402 found a single car accident with the vehicle on its roof. The disposition of the driver is unknown. Again a terrific job by Sal's Towing for flipping the car upright and removing the vehicle from the roadway without incident. PRFD stayed on-scene until the car was removed, providing a safe scene, scene lighting and clean up of various fluids that leaked from the vehicle's engine compartment. Units cleared the scene at approximately 6:30pm. We would like to thank our friends at the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. for their continued support and for working with us throughout the year as one cohesive unit.
