** Dumpster Fire endangers Stricture** On 08/15/23 at approximately 1153am Pound Ridge Firefighters were dispatched to a dumpster fire in close proximity to a barn

Responding units requested a mutual aid engine from South Salem. Once on location members found a dumpster filled with hay and other yard debris being extinguished by the homeowner with a garden hose. Members pulled multiple booster lines and soaked the dumpster and conducted overhaul to ensure all smoldering debris were removed and extinguished before clearing the scene.

We would like to thank @southsalemfire for their assistance today as the quick response saved a structure from fire damage.
