At approximately 6PM Thursday, June 19, the Pound Ridge Fire Department was requested for mutual aid in assisting with a structure fire on Smith Ridge Road. Units arrived in a timely manner and extinguished the blaze. Thankfully there were no injuries. Pound Ridge FD was dismissed at approximately 10PM. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
