The tables are away and the floors are mopped, but there is still one thing we have to do.
Thank you, to all of those who came out and showed support towards the fire department and the pancake breakfast. Billy Fortin and the Scott's Corners Market helped us out tremendously and we cannot thank him enough for generously donating all the food and drinks! Thank you again to all 160 people who showed up and supported the Pound Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, over $1000 was raised for a veteran's organization. We would also like to thank the various other Fire Departments from around the county that came out and supported our efforts. Now don't forget to keep an eye out for the next fire department event; Sparky the fire prevention dog already misses you, and can't wait to make more friends!
Members worked tirelessly in the kitchen for about 3 and a half hours to serve the 160 people that attended the breakfast.
Sparky was a great success with many of the children and even some adults!
Sparky the fire prevention dog even got a taste of pancakes and maple syrup at this mornings breakfast!
Tours of the fire trucks where available for any and all to see!
